Traveling east to west, from Affton and Mehlville, to Sunset Hills, Fenton, and Eureka, these communities offer affordable housing with a wonderful small-town feel, award-winning schools, parks and little leagues, bicycle and pedestrian trails, community pools, and friendly neighborhoods. Its topography makes it one of the most scenic areas of metropolitan St. Louis. One third of the county population lives in unincorporated areas for which the county government provides services.
